This is where we assess and survey for building condition issues that you have with your property (for example cracking, dampness, condensation and mould); and we help you to understand the causes, and guide you on if they are actually a concerning issue or not. This also covers defective building work, assessing quality of workmanship and materials used in construction, extensions or renovations. Increasingly we are also reviewing Survey reports by other Surveyors, where the conditions reported pre-purchase were not reported in accordance with the Home Survey Standards laid out by RICS.
