Very much born out of our Surveying Services experience, dispute resolution then becomes a key part of work.  It comes in a wide range of guises from "Deemed Disputes" under the Party Wall etc Act 1996, actual disputes under the same legislation, or disputes between neighbouring owners over boundaries or rights of way.  Away from issues between neighbouring owners, disputes easily arrive from building works, differing expectations between the homeowner and the builder, or defective workmanship and/or materials; to over-charging or under-paying for works completed.

But it's not all about a dispute, sometimes there is a willingness and eagerness to simply resolve and agree matters.
